She has Jay-Z to thank for her guest spot on Robin Thicke's new single "Shakin It For Daddy" because the hip-hop mogul thought she would be perfect for the song.
Thicke explains, "It's a crazy story. I was in the studio playing the album to Jay-Z, trying to get him on the album. So we're playing the record and I put on Shakin' It For Daddy and he goes, 'You know who you need to put on Shakin' It For Daddy? It's Nicki Minaj.' So it was Jay's idea to put her on the record."
